Terms of use

These terms cover your use of the UniSync Starter app and this website. By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. UniSync is operated by Ravi Kumar Cherukuri (proprietor), trading as Gear Up Auto Services, Bengaluru.

1. Who we are

UniSync is a product of Gear Up Auto Services, Bengaluru. Our full business details are in section 12.

2. The app and the direct download

• UniSync Starter is a shop-management app for car care and detailing shops: job cards, prices, payments, bills, money summary, discounts, late-car alerts and a profit calculator.
• The Android app is downloaded from this website. You will need to allow installs from this source on your phone. The same app and the same updates will follow on the stores.
• We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app for running your own shop. Please do not copy, resell or reverse-engineer it.
• The app needs an internet connection.

3. Your account and manager login

Starter includes one owner and one manager login for a single shop. You are responsible for keeping your phone, OTP codes and PIN safe, for what your manager does with the account, and for the accuracy of the information you enter.

4. Free trial

Every new shop gets a 14-day free trial. No card is needed to start. Before the trial ends we will tell you how to continue on a paid plan. If you do not continue, your access will stop at the end of the trial, and your data is kept for a reasonable period so you can come back. You can ask us to delete it at any time (see the Privacy policy).

5. Plans and prices

Prices include GST. We will tell you in advance if prices change; a change does not affect a price you have locked under the pre-launch offer.

Renewal: UniSync does not charge your card or bank automatically. Before your plan ends we remind you on WhatsApp. To continue, you pay by UPI or bank transfer and we extend your plan. If you do not pay, you have a grace period of 7 days after your plan ends; after that your account becomes read-only. Your data is kept so you can continue later.

Cancellation: you can stop at any time by sending us a WhatsApp message. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and we will not charge you again.

Refunds: if you stop a paid 6-month or 1-year plan early, the months you have already used are counted at ₹499 a month, and the month in which you tell us counts as used. The rest is refunded. Refunds are paid back by UPI or bank transfer to the account you paid from within 7 working days. A monthly plan is not refunded for the month that has started.

6. Pre-launch offer

• 50% off: Starter at ₹499 a month instead of ₹999 (prices include GST).
• Price locked for 1 year: if you join during the offer, ₹499 a month stays the same for 1 year. The 6-month and 1-year plans keep the pre-launch price for their whole period.
• Limited members only. The offer is open to a limited number of shops. We may close it to new shops at any time; shops that joined before that keep their locked price for the locked period.
• The offer is for the Starter plan only, for one shop, and cannot be combined with other discounts. It starts with the 14-day free trial.
• We may end the offer earlier or change it only for shops that have not joined yet.

7. Your customers' data and messages

You decide what customer information to enter and you are responsible for having the right to do so. Receipts and messages are shared with your customers through WhatsApp or other apps on your phone and on your instruction. Please do not use the app to send spam or unlawful messages.

8. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app: no unlawful use, no attempts to break into the service or other shops' data, no false or misleading information, and no sharing your login with people who are not part of your shop.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, improve or change features, and may suspend access if these terms are broken.

10. Liability and governing law

The app helps you record and see your shop's work; it is not an accounting, tax or legal service, so please check important figures yourself. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or business losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 3 months before the claim. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru have jurisdiction. We recommend you keep a copy of these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will change the "Last updated" date above. For significant changes we will tell you in the app or on WhatsApp.
